Alejandra Klopstock

Position: Professional Psychotherapist, Investigator
Alejandra became interested in paranormal phenomena at a very young age. She watched shows about ghosts, read books on the subject, and she even took a paranormal class during undergraduate school. It all started as a hobby, but with the years, it has turned into a serious passion and search for understanding the unexplained.

All throughout her undergraduate and graduate school years, she was trained in the scientific method. Her studies in the field of Psychology and Counseling also helped her become aware of the power of the mind, and the tricks that our emotions and brain can play on our perceptions:

“sometimes we may experience events that we may not understand, but that may have a perfect explanation”. Her training in (clinical) Ericksonian hypnosis has also made her aware that some individuals may be highly suggestible, and may respond to certain stimuli with a firm belief that what was perceived (either at a subconscious or conscious level), was real.

Alejandra’s limited knowledge in the field of parapsychology, combined with her scientific training and partial skepticism was profoundly shaken by an unexplained event that continuously occurred in her own home. One of her children consistently reported the presence of shadow like human figures that walked through her bedroom. No one else in the family experienced this phenomenon, except for this child. Alejandra attempted to find explanations from dreams to imagination, but the (reported) experiences continued, until the family moved to another home. Alejandra researched the information provided by her young daughter, and found very interesting data, other people around the world had had the same experience as her daughter. Alejandra firmly believes that her little girl saw something and that she did not dream it. Her daughter’s experience combined with other accounts of strange experiences by friends, family members and clients, has encouraged her to seek answers…

By becoming a member of the investigator’s team of the RGPI, Alejandra’s goal is to help in the scientific exploration of unexplained phenomena while keeping an open mind.
